During this wonderful holiday season, the TreeTop Commons team wants to share what we are thankful for – from family and friends, to good health and meaningful work with amazing co-workers, we are all blessed. Here’s wishing you and your family the same good fortune. Enjoy every minute! Happy Thanksgiving!
Our Holiday Season Gratitude
Thankful for a life partner who loves to run the beautiful forested miles of Forest Park trails that lie right outside our Portland doorstep, and the beauty and nature of Oregon. – Jenny
I am thankful for these two guys and I cherish every moment with them. There is so much to be thankful for, but at the end of the day it’s my time with my kids that brings me the most joy. – Allison
I’m thankful for the amazing photos of Jupiter being sent back to us by the Juno probe. To think that this gigantic world encompasses many earths, and contains endless storms, clouds, and whirlwinds that we will never know… it blows my mind, and excites my imagination. Also, shout out to Enceladus, whose global subterranean ocean was only recently discovered, and may be one of our best bets for nearby alien life… – Nick
This holiday season, I’m thankful that this guy turned out exactly the way he did. – Eric
I am thankful for my family and friends and our ability to remain close despite the distance between us, being close to my sister and my niece and nephew, my awesome job and coworkers, and the opportunity to move cross-country and get to know a new city. – Carlye
Thankful for another year with my beautiful family. Grateful for all the little joys in this life; they make all the difference. – Karly
I’m thankful for my wife, 2 boys, and loving family. I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to mentor, parent, and bless others. – Godwin
Even More to Be Thankful For
This year, I’m particularly thankful for physical health. I started the year by rupturing my achilles tendon and have spent the rest of the year gradually recovering from surgery. The process has made me more aware of my aging body and what I need to do to take care of it. But by being patient and persistent, I was able to take my kid hiking in Bryce Canyon in the summer. It was physically painful at times but memories of the experience are more than worth it. –Judah
This year I️ am grateful to have joined the ranks of motherhood. For getting well-acquainted with 3 a.m.; for an aching back and a messy house, buck-toothed smiles, giggles and peekaboo, those first unstable steps and cuddles reserved only for mommy. I️ love you more than you can comprehend, Dottie! – Kristin
I’m thankful for getting to share every single day with my other 67.5% (we negotiated this figure), and our two highly spoiled cats. Getting to wake up every day, write code, play drums, and hang out with the love of my life… there’s a lot to be grateful for! Happy Thanksgiving from your friends north of the border – Andrew
Holiday Gratitude and More
I’m grateful for my family and friends. I’m grateful for survivors, comforters, carers and volunteers. Most of all, I’m grateful for the ability to learn and the capacity to love. – Erin
1) family
2) loyalty
3) drivers who are aware of bicyclists
4) waterproof things
– Danny
